Facebook Soars To $59.4 Billion Valuation

SharesPost sent out an email saying that Facebook common stock closed at $25 a share in the private marketplace’s most recent auction. That’s almost 20 percent higher than the last known transaction, which occurred on SecondMarket.

Facebook Testing Return Of Feed Filters

In a time not so long ago, Facebook has a feature which enabled users to filter through feed stories based on the type of story and based on where that story originated from. While it disappeared for some time (after first appearing in 2008), one reader has sent us a screenshot of the feature back in the new design.

Facebook Accidentally Pushes New Page Layout, Page Accounts, and Removes Landing Tabs

Today, many Facebook users saw several changes to Pages, most visibly a new layout which moved to the left side the navigation tabs for switching between the wall, info, and other in-house and third-party apps. Other changes included the removal of the option to set a default landing tab, and the added ability for admins to switch between designated accounts for the Pages they control. However, this was an inadvertent push of prototypes, and the site was briefly taken offline to rolled back the changes.

HUGE: Facebook Lets Page Admins Switch Between Accounts (Updated)

Facebook has rolled out a new feature along with their roll out of new Facebook Pages: the ability to switch between being logged in as the Page and as the user. This is a big change which resolves one of the biggest complaints of many page administrators.
